New Canon DC Power Pro Converters

astronomiser is happy to announce the eagerly awaited arrival of our new 'Pro' range of DC power converters for Canon dSLR cameras. These converters provide a more reliable high amperage feed with better cooling to suit cameras with a higher power drain, i.e., the 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D and those cameras running 'Live View' mode. Availability of dSLR filters

Due to some information that has recently come to light, it may well be worth considering a filter removal only for these models anyway - please see this page for a comparison.

A note on the use of EOS Clip filters

Recently, a myth has grown up around the use of EOS clip filters stating that removing the rear filter and replacing it by using a clip filter in front of the mirror will compensate for the change in the optical path allowing sharp focus to be maintained. This is *not accurate* - please read this very short explaination to see why.
